We visited Universal Studio, LA,USA on the first day of our trip. It is always advisable to start the day early. So its good plan to reach LA one day before in the evening. We had our breakfast at the hotels reception and headed towards the Theme Park. The
passes to the theme park are costly and I would recommend you to check the work around or cheapers option. We reached the Park at around 9 o clk and baught the tickets at entrance. If you have carried some food stuff, I would recommend you to either eat it at the entrance or leave it behind in your car or Hotel. The Park does not allow one to carry home food.

Niagara USA Discovery Pass

The Niagara State Park USA offers day pass for the Niagara Falls Adventures - Niagara USA Discovery Pass.
Important - This pass is avaibable inside the Niagara State Park. I would recommed the visitors to buy this pass. The pass is the best and cheapest option available to enjoy all the attractions offered at the Niagara State Park. Once you buy this pass they will give you wrist band which allows you entry to all the attractions. At the entrance of the attraction there is a special Queue for the Pass holders and you can skip the long queues for individual ticket Queue. This seriously save considerable amount of time. The pass also allows you to use the Niagara Scenic Trolley – A local park bus to commute between the different tourist destinations inside the Park.

Beware of the many private tour operators and private vendors outside the Niagara State Park who claim that they are the official park attaction ticket vendors. These vendors charge you double the amount of the Niagara State Park. They put on hoarding in front of the Car parks outside the park which say that they sell the official Niagara Pass and one does get fooled easily.

London Zone 1 Day card

All major attractions covered in London Sight seeing article lie in Zone 1. So if you travel to London Zone one by some long distance train in UK or Europe, then please buy Zone 1 day travel card. This will cover transportation by London Tube and local buses in London.
We bought the Travel card for Zone one at Kings Cross.
One needs to tap the oyster card or the Zone one ticket on the ticket machine at the entrance of each station or after entrying the London Underground Bus.
Note: Please don’t forget to collect London 2 for 1 pamphlet at the Tube Stations Ticket counter

Rome Tourist Pass for 3 Days

Rome pass: It covers all the Rome attractions and also the local travel for metro and bus network in Rome , Italy. It is valid for 3 consecutive days after its first activated and is very helpful while visiting attractions in Rome , Italy.
Once you reach the Rome terminie you have to head to Platform number 24 to the Rome tourist Information Center. There are many private bus company stalls which might mislead you. You can also get Rome pass at various other tourist information centers located in the city.

The Rome pass has two options: 20 Euro and 25 Euros.
The first option gives you first two Rome attractions free and concessions or discounts on the next onces which you visit. It also includes local travel using metro and local buses. Its advisable to take road map of Rome either from the hotel reception which is sponsered by walking tours. The road map provided by Rome pass is not detailed enough. Trade secret of Rome pass is that we used it to see all attractions and were not charged single penny.

The second option covers first three Rome attractions free and has concession or discounts on others. The local travel is included.

Rome Pass does not cover Vactican Museum though.

With Rome Tourist Pass in your pocket you are now all set to explore the Rome attractions.

York Pass

The York pass is budget travellers dream come true. One has option of buying the York pass for day, two or three. This will help you to minimize price of the entrance charges for the attractions. If used properly, York pass gives you best value for money.
The York pass will give you free entrance to most of the attractions in and around York.
There are concessions available on rides, restaurants, theatres and other stuff.
One can buy York pass online through internet, telephone or on reaching York.
The York pass is sold in the tourist information center at York Rail Station.

Switzerland Train Pass

Switzerland Train Pass:

It is advisable to buy Switzerland train pass while travelling in Switzerland. The tourist pass itself is very costly but has many benefits of its own. As it includes train travel, access to scenic or panoramic trains, boat or cruise fairs and concessions on many other train and travel attractions. If you try to buy train tickets individually for each journey it will turn out to be very costly.
There is range of tourist passes available depending on number of days and the tourist travelling together. If you are travelling in groups of two or more you will have concessions on these passes.
This pass is available in combination with Eurail Pass or also in combination with some other countries Rail pass.
Since we had planed our journey for 6 days and there was Pass available for 4 or 8 days. The difference was too steep and we decided to stay in first day in Luzern and in Zurich on the last day so that we don’t need pass for intra city travel. We bought separate tickets from Zurich airport to Luzern. And separate ticket from Zurich to Zurich airport on the last day. The pass started from second day of our travel and ended on the fifth day. Just by effectively managing our travel plan we reduced the cost of Switzerland pass by half the amount.

Local Transport in Venice

The local transport in Venice can be much cheaper if you buy travel pass.

This pass has validity of 12 hours or 24 hours and is priced 14 Euro and 16 Euro respectively.

The local transport available in Venice is water bus and normal buses.

If you want to commute in heart of Venice then you need either catch water bus or private water taxi. These are small water boats. These passes were available at tourist information centre at Venice mestre. The individual trip ticket cost is around 6 to 7 Euros. Hence someone with common sense will always opt for Day pass to start with.
