Shopping Special - Rajasthan

The Bapu Bazaar(Market) in Jaipur and National Handloom Stores all around Rajasthan are shoppers paradise. The market is studded with small shops in heart of the Jaipur city. These shops sell various handicarfts and specialities of Jaipur. One can spend hours inside these shops window shopping or just browsing through the various items. Newbie has to be careful about the rates offered by the shop owners. A good bargainer will ideally reduce the price of the items by 50 % and then buy anything from the market.

National Handloom Store is chain of super stores around Rajasthan. For some one who is not intrested in bargaining can just enter one of these stores and buy stuff at reasonable rate. For someone like me hailing from Mumbai it was dream come true. I baught atleast 8 to 9 Salwar Kameez dress pieces at almost half the price of Mumbai.
